José M. Álvarez Losada has a repertoire with pieces by composers from the Baroque to the present day.

Committed to the music of our time, he performed the premiere of Antón García Abril's Poemario, in a version revised by the composer.

He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Spanish Radio and  Television Symphony Orchestra, the Real Filharmonía de Galicia Orchestra, the Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra, the Mallorca Chamber Orchestra, and the Academia 1830 Orchestra, among others.
